Manchester United manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, has hailed Bayern Munich following their emphatic victory over Barcelona in the Champions League.
The Bundesliga champions thrashed Lionel Messi and co 8-2 on Friday night to progress to the Champions League semi-finals.
Solskjaer himself will lead his team out in the Europa League last four against Sevilla.
Speaking ahead of the game, the Norwegian was asked about Barca’s humiliation in Lisbon.
“Yeah, we watched it. Bayern Munich are setting the standard at the moment. The new coach came in and they have been brilliant.
“It was a top, top class performance by a top team,” Solskjaer said.
